Arizona and the Immigration Debate

The Arizona Governor passed the new immigration law. Some who support it claims that it was about time that the state government is doing something that the federal government can't do in trying to control illegal immigrants. Many opponents of the new law protested in the street in Phoenix and all over Arizona. Arizona is known for controversy. The governor claim that this new law doesn't involve racial profiling and any discriminatory actions. She passed an executive order to educate officers on how to conduct the procedures that are subsequently apart of the signed legislation. The critics of this new law concieve it as an overt means of violating civil liberties and being the complete representation of racial profiling. The Arizona Governor is Jan Brewer. She is being criticized by many people. The law requires law enforcement to question individuals about their immigration status during everyday police encounters. This law will be challenged on Fourth Amendment grounds since you can't just ask someone's immigration status if they are innocent of any crime or probable cause is non-existent. The law does this profiling under the guise of "reasonable suspicion" that forces all residents of Arizona to have their papers at all times. This is what East Germany did and the USSR not what America should be all about. The law also makes it a state crime for immigrants to willfully fail to register with the Department of Homeland Security and carry registration documents. It further curtails the free speech rights of day laborers and encourages unchecked information sharing between government agencies. The police can arrest people who can't immediately show their legal papers. This law transmits the real responsible of the police to handle crime under due process and expands their power to have mere "suspicion" to arrest people. Before the governor signed the bill, President Obama criticized it harshly, calling it "misguided" and saying that it threatens to "undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans." Obama promised to "closely monitor the situation and examine the civil rights and other implications of this legislation." I don't agree with illegal immigration. The Vatican supports it and I don't support the Vatican. Yet, at the same time, I don't support violating anyone's civil liberties and exploiting the immigration issue in the process either. Even Fox News senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano (one of the real conservatives on FOX) admitted that the Arizona immigration law is blatantly unconstitutional, it may caused Hispanic people to leave the Republican Party in droves, and it can cause massive lawsuits in the state. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said that the new law gives him new authority to detain undocumented migrants who aren't accused of committing any other crimes. The law broadly allows the police to send you to jail if you fail to provide papers to police officers. The Arizona State Police Chief's Association is opposed to the bill on the grounds that it could damage the relationship between police and immigrants who are potential witnesses. This is a police state law being Nazi like.

Northern Kentucky Pro-Life group sees abortion display vandalized again. Students with the pro-life group at Northern Kentucky University saw their pro-life cross display vandalized again after a professor was dismissed and students were charged with destroying a previous one years ago. The vandalism scandal placed a spotlight in the University in 2005. Last Wednesday morning, a pro-life cross display called "Cemetary of the Innocents" display was vandalized. Nothern Right to Life, the pro-life student group at NKU built the "Cemetery of Innocents" display in a high traffic area to create awareness not only to the issue of abortion but also highlight the group's efforts to support their community. The group's "Cemetery of the Innocents" had 400 corsses that were place in the lawn between University buildings with a sign that stated "Each cross represents 10 abortions that occur every day." The display was dismantled as crosses were ripped out of the ground and thrown aside by an unidentified male. “We wanted to give our campus and our fellow students a visual to associate with how many abortions take place each and every day in America," says Theresa Beyer a member of Northern Right to Life. “The display was meant to create awareness of our group and how we are getting involved by supporting women in crisis pregnancies.” This vandalism is wrong since people have a right to free speech even on controversial matters. Students for life of America Executive Director Kristan Hawkins said that she is upset by the latest incident. “How can a college campus, a place where all ideas and beliefs are supposedly welcome, be so hostile to a peaceful pro-life display? After seeing this type of vandalization on other college campuses over the past 4 years, I can only conclude that it is because the pro-choice side simply has no effective response to the pro-life movement. They resort to any tactic, even violence, to silence pro-life speech," she said. She is correct since abortion is about destroying innocent unborn human life, abortion can cause many negative side effects against women, and aborted fetuses are used in an evil way in vaccines, organ trading, and other sick experiments globally. Northern Right to Life has filed a report with campus police. On April 24, 2006, a professor of NKU vandalized the display along with students and as a consequence, the professor was forced into early retirement by the university.

A H1N1 vaccine study are investigating hints of complications from vaccine. Federal health officials are investigating the first hints of possible significant complications that the H1N1 vaccine can have. They believe that the concerns are a false alarm, but experts have found problems with the H1N1 vaccine. The latest analysis of data has detected what could be somewhat elevated rate of Gullain-Barre syndrome, which can cuase paralysis and death. There has been Bell's palsy, a temporary facial paralysis, and thrombocytopenia, which is a low level of blood platelets. Officials reported this information on last Friday. The data is being collected through five of the networks the government is using to monitor people who were inoculated against the swine flu. Officials stressed that it is far too early to know whether the vaccine was increasing the risk of those conditions or whether there is some other explanation, such as doctors identifying more cases because of the intensive effort to pinpoint any safety problems with the vaccine. There is a preliminary report from the the Health and Human Services Department's National Vaccine Advisory Committee, which has been charged with monitoring the vaccine's safety, voted unanimously to follow up on the findings. "We're at the first step of determining whether there is a problem," Guthrie S. Birkhead, who chairs the committee, said during a teleconference in which a subcommittee of experts presented its latest findings on the data. "There's a lot more work to determine whether there is." Marie McCormick led the subcommittee. She said that there is a good chance that the indications of problems could disappear with further analysis. Even if the link with the Guillain Barrésyndrome is confirmed, the committee calculated the vaccine at most could be causing one extra case per 1 million people vaccinated. That's the government putting out propaganda again since even if the vaccine is dangerous, they still want to promote it. One person died isn't worth a vaccine like that avaliable in the general public at all. The governmetn wants to promote the vaccine still. The Guillain-Barré syndrome have harmed people using the vaccine back in 1976. Each year, about 3,000 to 6,000 people in the USA develop Guillain-Barré syndrome whether or not they were vaccinated -- a rate of one to two people out of every 100,000 people. Some studies have indicated that the seasonal flu vaccine might be associated with one additional case of the syndrome out of 1 million vaccinated. And influenza itself can cause the syndrome. The vaccine was created in record time too. Some charge the World Health Organization of exaggerating the pandemic's risks. Evne the Geneva-based arm of the U.N. have launched 2 investigations to see what is occuring with the pandemic. The investigations are ongoing.

There is the launch of a secret U.S. space ship that makes even a more secret launch of a new weapon. There is America's latest spaceship. It's a 30 ft. craft that is so classified that the Penagon will not divulage its mission nor how much of it cost to build. The mysterious X37B launched successfully by the US Air Force from Cape Canaveral on Thursday. It used an Atlas V Rocket. This rocket looked like a mini Space Shuttle, but its mission is top secret. It is officially described as an orbital test vehicle. However, one of its potential uses appears to be launch a surge of small satellites during periods of high international tension. This would enable America to have eyes and ears orbiting above any potential troublespot in the world. The X37B can stay in orbit for up to 270 days, whereas the Shuttle can last only 16 days. This can provide the US with the ability to carry out experiments for long periods including the testing of new laser weapon systems. This would bring the accusations that hte launch of the X37B and a second vehicle planned for later this year could lead into a militarization of space. US Defense officials claim that this system is just an udpated version of the Space Shuttle activities. Last Thursday's launch was more about testing the craft. A new generation of silica tile and a wealth of other advances make the Shuttle look like yesterday's space technology. NASA's X37B program began in 1999 and ran until September 2004 when it was transferred to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency before being taken over by the U.S. Air Force. The flight of the X37B is being managed by the US Sir Force Space Command's 3rd Space Experimental Squadron. “This bird has been through all of the shake, rattle and roll, the vibration tests, the acoustic tests that any spacecraft would go through,” said Gary Payton, Under Secretary of the Air Force for Space Programmes. With all the focus on the launch of the secret X37B, another space launch by a Minotaur IV rocket from Vandenberg Air Force base in California received less attention. It was carrying the prototype of a new weapon that can hit any target around the world in less than an hour. The Prompt Global Strike is designed as the conventional weapon of the future. It could hit Osama bin Laden’s cave, an Iranian nuclear site or a North Korean missile with a huge conventional warhead.

Economic realities are coming out in the world. There is over 50% of the U.S. Government spending going into the military. These are common in the spending priorities. Live Science wrote that America spends about 1/5 of its budget on the military. Yet, if you add discretionary spending (this is spending done by Congress or the government explicity. Non-discretionary deals with economic spending that exists independent of the government), Congress gives 58% of the budget to the military. The rest of the spending is non-military spending. Mandatory spending includes programs, mostly entitlement programs, which are funded by eligibility rules or payment rules. Congress decides to create a program, for example, Food Stamps. It then determines who is eligible for the program and any other criteria it may want to lay out. How much is appropriated for the program each year is then determined by estimations of how many people will be eligible and apply for Food Stamps. Congress can review a program to include or exclude more people. One mandatory program is of course Social Security. This discretionary spending is common, but we suffer high unemployment, increased foreclosures, bankster bailouts, million dollar industry bonuses while the minimum wage remains below poverty, all amid a global financial crisis. What does that 58% of discretionary spending amount to? In 2010: $1,027.8 billion, or over a trillion dollars, according to Robert Higgs of the Independent Institute, at Defense Spending Is Much Greater than You Think: more than $1Trillion a year.

Children are Watching

by stopdainsanity2

When I entered kindergarten – I was put into a class for the mentally retarded. Because my skin was brown my teacher assumed I did not speak English and required special bilingual support which was not available at the time. Yes – I was a Mexican-American citizen child AND I spoke English.

It literally took 2 weeks for my parents to force the school to place me in the mainstream kindergarten class — even though I could respond to questions in English. At the time if was easier for frustrated- overworked teachers (not bad people) to send me to the special needs class – no questions asked – based on my skin color. Although the error was corrected, as a child I never lost the feeling I was not welcomed and somehow my rights as a citizen were not equal to those of white americans. Be careful – children are watching.

This unmatched chaos caused by decades of unimportance as seen by both political parties over illegal immigration. In this firestorm of an issue we need to enact immediately the following measures to stabilize our nation’s immigration enforcement. This is specifically come to the surface after the bloody murder of Robert Krentz, rancher and landowner, with the upsurge in deaths of border Patrol agents and illegal aliens. 1. Deploy the National Guard permanently--fully armed along the border from San Diego, CA to Brownville, Texas. 2. Make it a felony with prison time for any employer not using the computer application E-Verify, to identify all workers on the payroll. This program will improve nationwide impact of self-deportation by ATTRITION, over the coming years for unlawful labor. 3. To terminate decades of unprecedented billions of dollars of debt for support of illegal immigrants on taxpayers. Read what Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) has to say about what taxpayers are forced to pay for 20 to 30 million illegal immigrants at--THE DAILY CALLER WEBSITE.

Reestablish the legality of instant citizenship to babies born to an illegal parent or parents in federal court. 4. Make absolutely sure that any incumbent of both parties, starting with Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) is thrown out of office this year. Send this searing message to--ALL--pro illegal immigrant, Pro-amnesty politicians that America will not stand any longer lawmakers that are for sale to the highest bidder. 5. Those elected will re-fence the border as two separate barriers, with an open tracking area in between for the movement of National Guardsman accompanying the US Border patrol with full funding. That lawmakers who are supposedly there to represent every citizen and permanent resident possessing a green card, appropriate the money to seal the border from illegal entry. That these same elected officials have already spent $445 Billion dollars in taxpayer’s money in supporting some distant foreign government in Afghanistan; they therefore can easily appropriate funds for the correctly designed border fence.

As a patriotic people we will voice our vehemence that we will join the war against any type of Comprehensive Immigration Reform. That contains in any shape or form a citizenship path, for those who stole into America. THERE WILL BE NO AMNESTY--NO PARDON FOR CRIMINALS WHO IGNORE OUR LAWS. We are not the financial, free-handout for foreign labor, which cannot support those entering America illegally. Arizona is the first state with a backbone that has been financial crippled by welfare payments to illegal alien families. Its undercurrent caused by the rising crime rate never seen to this extent before. Violence on a grand scale has flowed across the Rio Grande from the illicit drug industry. Exhaustion of the local police in Phoenix and other communities unable to handle the daily homicides, kidnappings, home invasions, predatory smuggling people and the narcotics trade.

Any state, county city, town or public servant that boycotts the exceptional state of Arizona, should be black-listed. Hopefully--Americans will donate (however small) money to Arizona if the Governor Jan brewer gets sued. Perhaps a good patriotic American will arrange a website for everybody to give money in the immediate future? If and when it happens my check will be waiting...? If that happens Americans will boycott companies that hire illegal immigrants and that I will add--ONE--company hiring foreign labor to my blogs.

NUMBERSUSA--is the website for the legal people of this country, so you can fight this illegal immigrant epidemic--with over a MILLION--members. We are here to tell the--TRUTH--not lies or well-honed rhetoric as the Far-Left liberals, hidden inside the Democratic Party, not from the Liberal editors of national press at the, Huffington Post, New York Times or the Los Angeles Times and others.
